Choro is a Brazilian Popular Music origined in 19th century, in Rio de Janeiro. It was considered the first urban popular music typical of Brazil. The Zwarte Bal Trio is formed by Mariana Bruekers (flute/voice), Francisco Medina (guitar/cavaquinho) and Elizabeth Fadel (pandeiro/piano) and brings you traditional and new repertoire of choro. The group has its own original arrangments, exploring the variety of rhythms and influences brought by each member.
